Liebherr-International AG is the Liebherr Group's holding company. They are located in Bulle, Switzerland and are totally owned by the Liebherr family members. Now, the family business is being managed by Dr. H.C. Isolde Liebherr and her brother Dr. H.C. Willi Liebherr in the 2nd generation. Ever since the year 2012, some of the active individual divisions have been represented by 3rd generation members of the family like: Patricia Ruf, Stefanie Wohlfarth, Jan Liebherr and Sophie Albrecht. These family members have been working together to help set up the course of the family business in the future. Hans Liebherr started this quest in the year 1949, with his first company in the tiny South-German town of Kirchdorf/Iller. These days, Kirchdorf is amongst over 20 key manufacturing sites of the Liebherr Group. They can average an annual output of around 2800 wheeled excavators and employ more than 1400 individuals in that specific workforce.
