Genie Knuckle Boom Lift Phoenix

Genie Knuckle boom lifts are strong four wheel drive and four wheel steering capable machinery that allow work to be done effectively, even when the terrain is rough. The ALC 1000 electronic controls are a menu-based system which allows the user to easily calibrate the equipment and its components. System diagnostics are offered in various languages. There are dual fuel options available on the Z-80/60 unit. The optional Deutz diesel powered engine is quiet, but turbocharged. It allows for improved performance at higher altitudes. Additionally, it carries more than enough torque for better terrain- and grade-ability.



Better traction for tough terrain is due to four-wheel drive and full-time positive traction. The Z-135/70 is available with four-wheel steering. Optional features on this specific unit comprise crab, coordinated, front wheel, and rear wheel steering to give the machine added agility. On the Z-80/60 the full-time active oscillating axle helps enhance wheel contact on uneven ground. All of these features make Genie Knuckle Boom lifts smoother and easier to operate on irregular terrain.



Genie's engine-powered articulating Z-booms are bigger compared to any other Genie units. They feature a continuous 360 degree turntable rotation and telescoping jibs that are engineered to give the user a much better range of motion and reach. The Z-boom design gives the models outstanding up and over positioning capability which ranges from 8.83 meters on the Z-80/60 unit to 23.01 meters on the Z-135/70 unit. The XChassis expanding axle is an ingeniously engineered mechanism utilized for retracting and extending axles in and out of stowed position. The width of the Z-135/70 model equipment is only 2.46 meters if the axle is stowed. The Z-80/60 has fixed width axles for easier transport.
