Use a Pneumatic Forklift
You could usually find pneumatic forklifts in shipping and warehouse operations. Also known as pallet trucks or pump trucks, they are utilized to transport supplies and products around on wooden pallets using metal forks that are mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight has a pump which raises the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is intended to be operated by a single individual.
To avoid loosing control while lifting heavy loads, pallet trucks must always be operated with care. Equipment should be inspected prior to operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstructions. Make certain that the handle turns smoothly. The pallet must be carefully stacked in order to guarantee that nothing would fall off during transportation.
On the end of the pallet truck's handle, squeeze the level found on the inside of the metal loop to be able to release the air in the pump and lower the forks. The forks can then be pushed into the slots of the pallet. The forks should be in the middle to ensure equal distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Lift the forks from the ground by pumping the handle of the pneumatic lift until the pallet has fully cleared the ground. Do not raise the pallet too high or the forklift can unbalance.
Pull on the handle and then drag it behind you if you want to move the pallet. It is really not safe to push the pallet in front of you because the momentum can cause it to lose control. Take turns slowly and don't try to stop abruptly. Slowly stop, squeeze the lever, and the forks would lower to the ground. Finally, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent location.
