Lull Telehandlers
Since 1959, Lull has been producing telehandlers. Their equipment have been designed for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system provides a lot more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer a huge range of optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you complete all your requirements, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. If accuracy and precision are really important, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
To be able to make rough terrain lift trucks as efficient as possible, numerous attachments have been engineered and made such as booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to position materials more accurately. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and are able to reach up and over structures so as to place loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New attachments and products are being made and engineered all the time and will be available in the future.
Many improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. For example, load-reach management devices can automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized in order to know the weight of the load. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The memory of the boom will compare the extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits, when the load is being placed into position. There is an essential lock-up device or a warning system that prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
