Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklift units are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck offering versatility and great height. The arm, or crane, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the operator to maintain a high degree of control while lifting the load to great heights. Standard lift trucks aren't able to move the cargo towards and away from the cab of the forklift, whereas a telescopic forklift could allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly utilized in both agriculture and construction. It is recommended for applications where greater lift and control is required.
A lift truck carton clamp attachments are better in cases requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that enable the operator to use uniform clamping force when lifting a load. It comes with a backrest which protects the cargo from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is utilized for storing systems that don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This kind of system is useful for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A lift platform which is meant to hoist personnel is referred to as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forks on the forklift and a chain or strap is used to attach the basket to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the personnel from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the worker's safety harness.
