Established in the year 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes began as a family business in the Northern Italy's biggest industrial location. Throughout the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in constructing bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, different kinds of presses, forklifts, farming equipments and prefabrication molds.
The business began crane production during the year 1963. Over time, the company pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the area of lifting.
