Nearly all mishaps are attributed to workers who are not well trained. Employers are responsible for making certain that all staff who are using the forklift are properly trained in safety and risks. Never let anyone on a forklift who isn't properly trained to operate the forklift. Your business must develop and post in a visible place all forklift safety measures.
Rather than going through training because employees are required to, they should have a positive attitude in doing so. You as the employer should help employees know the significance of proper training. Let them realize that they could kill or injure not just themselves, but other individuals, if they make mistakes. It is up to you to make certain that all your employees undertake training seriously.
