Articulating Booms - Electric and Bi-Energy

The Bi-Energy and Genie DC machinery offered by Terex provide emission-free and quiet operation in the most sensitive work applications. Like for example, in industrial situations where the equipment should travel significant distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the benefits and versatility of a diesel fueled generator utilizing a 48 Volt DC equipment.



Key characteristics which this combination offers is up, over and out positioning capabilities for complete versatility. As well, the zero tail-swing offered by most units, combined with the tight turning radius provides easy maneuvering through standard doors and narrow aisles.



The proportional and drive controls provide the machinery with precise boom positioning and smooth drive performance. For quiet and emission free operation suitable for sensitive environments, there is a 48V DC electric drive system. There are jib boom models on the market to function with an extra working range for specific jobs. On non-jib models, there is a self-leveling platform which rotates 90 degrees to either side.



Articulating Booms - Diesel Engine

Genie equipment by Terex are ideal for both outdoor and indoor construction applications. This particular model provides engine-powered articulating Z booms which combine extreme lifting versatility and out, over and up positioning capabilities. The outreach provided by this model is second to none in the market.



The diesel engines with articulating booms offer zero tail-swing on the majority of models and have a tight turning radius. These equipment are great for maneuvering in confined locations. Furthermore, they offer grade and terrain maneuverability, supreme power and exceptional torque. The diesel engines are quiet in general also. Nearly all models have active oscillating axle and full time drive positive drive traction system to provide great flexibility on surfaces which are uneven and rough.



High ground clearance is offered in 4 or 2 wheel drive models, whilst the rough terrain models are desirable for any company's fleet. The jib boom models are available and provide added range capabilities. On non-jib models, the self-leveling platform also rotates to 90 degrees on these models as well.
